Pamelina's Studio gets requests almost daily to re-create the Jimi Hendrix Tribute guitar artwork painted 10 years ago for Fender's Custom Shop. Since it was painted as a limited edition, she will never paint that again.
Pamelina has created new artwork to meet the demand. It's a completely new piece of art that carries the 'vibe' of the artwork painted 10 years ago. This carries meaning for Pamelina since she grew up in Monterey and actually attended the 1967 Pop Festival (she was only 7) where Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin exploded onto the music scene. That event and the hippie culture that invaded the Bay made a great impression on her. Monterey holds a special place in her heart, signified by the red heart in the middle of the artwork.
This artwork will be created 200 times. Each artwork is numbered, signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
People interested in owning this artwork can send their Stratocasters to Pamelina's Studio.
Guitars will need to be dis-assembled, then the body will be sanded and painted. The artwork is applied, then the body and pickguard will be clearcoated. The guitar is re-assembled.
Below are some examples of how the artwork will look on different colors.

Commissioned by Lipe Guitars for possible sale in Japan. Pamelina was asked to create a design representing Los Angeles. Being an Angeleno for over 20 years, Pamelina is very familiar with the city's sometimes beautiful and artistic graffiti. It was painted using AutoAir enamels and Liquitex acrylics.
