Pamelina has created 2 calendars of mermaids in the past. This is her first studies for a new series. They will be more than your traditional mermaids, incorporating more sea life than before. This sea creature above a beautiful woman with a jellyfish. Each month will feature a hybrid indigenous to a region in her continuing theme to paint women from all over the world.

Pamelina has the great pleasure of creating this very special Stratocaster commemorating the Lakers' 60th anniversary. The background graphics use the Los Angeles Lakers purple and the Minneapolis Lakers light blue with a touch of gold at the 12th fret. The back of the guitar is a banner with the dates of Lakers' Championships. The paitning of the guitar is on hold until the 2007-8 season ends. If the Lakers win it all, it would be a wonderful addition to the banner.

The guitar will be auctioned at a Lakers charity event in Las Vegas, NV in October 2008 to benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation. Prior to the auction, it will be on display at Guitar Center, Hollywood. Check back for more information about the auction or email Pamelina's Studio to be notified of the auction.

The guitar was donated by Del Breckenfeld at Fender, Wilkins Finishes is donating the clearcoat and Mike Lipe is donating his assembly and set-up services.

The mermaid above is a combination of a beautiful woman and a Japanese fighting fish.

The mermaid at left combines the exotic dark beauty of an Indian woman and a stingray.
