The preliminary sketch above was based
on the historic tales of Valkyries.
The drawing changed drastically as
the basis of the painting became an historic
tale of Valkyrie motorcycles instead. The dragon at right represents the machine which the woman is barely able to restrain.

After discussions with the client,
a few changes are made. At left you
see the start of the final sketch. The final sketch is done in full detail before
going to paint.

The pictures below and right
show details added to the
dragon and his harness.
