These guitars show the devepment of the design. At far left is the first rough sketch submitted to Fender. The sketch was re-drawn in detail, scanned into the computer and tonal qualities were established. The design was reversed and nighttime tonal qualities were added to created the back design.

The line art was painted on paper using classic Strat colors. While creating this web page, the artwork slid under a color layer and the artwork at right was created. It was chosen to be the final art.
