The painting is the partner to the Los Angeles Graffiti Lipe guitar. It was built by masterbuilder Mike Lipe in 2009. He and Pamelina worked together on many guitars for Ibanez's Custom Shop in the 90's. Pamelina began working with Mike Lipe when he was the Guitar Doctor in Burbank, Ca.
The painting was done with Liquitex acrylics on 24 x 36 illustration board. Posters will be made available soon.

J.W. Black will be building the California Homegrown guitar front Fender Custom Shop parts made in the 90's when J. and Pamelina worked together. Together they worked on the Playboy guitar featuring a hand-painted Marilyn Monroe. The guitar shown here is the concept drawing. Check back soon to see the actual painted guitar.
