The guitar was auctioned on March 2, 2009 in conjunction with the Lakers 19th Celebrity Golf Invitational to benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation.
It was signed by the entire team, who went on to win the championship.
Fender generously donated the guitar, Pat Wilkins donated the clearcoat and Mike Lipe donated his luthier skills.

(Right) The back of the guitar features a banner with all of the championships. The entire guitar was painted by Pamelina, including the pickguard, pick-up covers and neck. The chrome hardware was replaced with gold hardware and a special engraved neckplate commemorating the Lakers 60th Anniversary was made. It was painted using Liquitex acrylics.

Lamar Odom is known as 'The Candyman'. Pamelina picked some of Lamar's favorite treats to decoupage the custom-built frame. The portrait features a gold leaf background with a second layer of gold leaf spelling the Los Angeles Lakers and Lamar's name and number. This painting will also be donated to the Lakers Youth Foundation. Acrylic on illustration board. 18 x 30

Pamelina noticed James Worthy air bassing during the Lakers pre-game show and enlisted the aid of her good friends to make this bass guitar happen. Del Breckenfeld donated the guitar and Mike Lipe donated luthier services. KCAL 9's LTV arranged to have Pamelina give it to James Worthy for his birthday on the show. James was thrilled with his gift and Pamelina was thrilled to meet one of basketball's greats.
