Painting Info

Pamelina H. and John Suhr worked on several projects together at Fender's Custom Shop. They've continued to work together through John's own company, Suhr Guitars. This guitar is their first independent collaboration built through Suhr Guitar's custom shop.

'California Republic' Suhr

It doesn't get more California than a variation on the state flag with a background of the California coastline and fields of poppies (the state flower). Pamelina felt it necessary that people in California, who are often thought of as lazy hippies, can also be aggressive.
