Featured in this section are portraits of famous subjects. They're featured on guitar and as traditional illustrations.
THE MERTENS ©2005
This portrait was commissioned by the Mertens family. Pamelina H. used a studio photograph and transported them to the beach. A driftwood frame was chosen to compliment the artwork.

It was done using Prismacolor pencil and Liquitex acrylics on colored mat board.
LITTLE WING ©2009
In 2008, Pamelina painted a fantasy portrait on a Fender Stratocaster called Little Wing. The Jimi Hendrix song holds special meaning for the couple. To accompany the guitar, the client commissioned Pamelina to paint a portrait that matches the guitar to hang on the wall.
Pamelina (who was trained by a master framer) did the custom framing to complete the job.
FOOL'S MISTRESS ©2007
Pamelina was commissioned to paint a psychedelic guitar with inspiration taken from Eric Clapton's The Fool. The theme centers on "where heaven meets the earth". Pamelina and the customer share a fondness for the Monterey Peninsula which is portrayed in the landscape. The female figure is a portrait of the client's wife. Every inch of this guitar was painted including the pickguard, pick-up covers and backplate, using Liquitex acrylics.
