The beautiful and talented Veronika Kotlajic posed for this painting. Pamelina was invited to participate in a Heavy Metal show (the magazine, not the music) in Veronika's Echo Gallery in Chicago.

Pamelina created this painting from the biblical passage about angels abducting humans. She wanted to convey how the woman was torn between her heavenly abductor and the life on earth she was leaving behind.

Autographed Battlestar Galactica
Pamelina was a big fan of the Battlestar Galactica re-imagining. She contacted the show via an associate to offer a painted guitar to be donated to the Foundation for Television Arts and Sciences auction in exchange for their autographs on a painting. They wholeheartedly agreed.

When Elephants Fly
Pamelina has a tradition of keeping the first painting of every year for herself. This is one of those. It was inspired by a line from the movie Dumbo Drop. A boy was explaining his religion and he mentioned flying white elephants. The mountains in the background can be seen from Pamelina's home.
