Lipe Guitars

The 24 and nip/tuck guitars will be auctioned to benefit the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences foundation in early 2008. Click on the link for information about the foundation. Kiefer Sutherland graciously autographed the 24 guitar. The nip/tuck guitar was autographed by the cast. All autographs are underneath the clearcoat and will last through time.
Both guitars were masterbuilt by Mike Lipe guitars. Finishes were provided by Wilkins Finishes.Both guitars were painted using AutoAir enamels and Liquitex acrylics.

Mike Lipe has close ties to Tahiti and that connection was reflected in this artwork simply done with Liquitex black acrylics on a beautiful wood finish.

Mike Lipe and Pamelina H. have known each other and worked together since the early 1990's, when Mike Lipe was the Guitar Doctor. They worked together through the Ibanez years and now are collaborating on original guitars.

Pamelina was asked to create artwork pertaining to Los Angeles. She created this colorful grafitti guitar painted with ComArt enamels.
